Florence Welch can’t remember having ‘one of the best conversations of [her] life’ with Beyoncé Knowles.

The singer has recalled hanging out with the global R&B sensation and her husband Jay-Z and explained that spending time with one of her musical icons felt surreal.

The 25-year-old would love to know what exactly they chatted about, hinting she may have had a little too much to drink at the time.

‘One of the best nights of my life was with Beyoncé and Jay-Z - but I can’t quite remember it all. I think we ended up at Jay-Z’s gig at the The Yankee stadium, which was so amazing. Jay-Z invited us and we met him as he was going to the stage in his own golf buggy. He said to me, ‘I’m going to put on a good show because you’re here’. I was like, ‘Oh my God! You’re Jay-Z’. It was amazing,’ she told British newspaper The Sun. “Beyoncé was just really, really sweet as well. I think I vaguely remember tequila and then apparently me and Beyoncé were talking for an hour or two in this place. I’m such a huge fan, I think it would have been one of the best conversations of my life, but I can’t remember what it was about, because when she met my sister at another event, she was so polite and friendly.
